Equifax is the biggest credit bureau in the United States with unique assets such as The Work Number and SBFE (Small Business Financial Exchange) that no other credit bureau in the world has.

LendAPI will be delivering all of Equifax’s products from their consumer bureau to their commercial bureau. We have already started integrating to all of their products as we speak. As part of this historical agreement, we will also be reselling all of Equifax’s products.

Equifax will also leverage LendAPI to deliver custom models for their clients as well. Our speed of implementation outpaces anyone in the industry. Equifax clients can create models from their Ignite Data and Analytics Platform and quickly release it into LendAPI’s Model Runtime Environment and use that in a flash.

Overall Platform Enhancements

Application Status and Decision Engine

Continuing with our Quality of Life features as the theme of this release, we are releasing a data point to indicate on the application page the last outcome of the decision path of the last decision tree that ran. This helps product and risk managers to quickly research the outcome of the application without having to look through various data tabs to figure out the right outcome. This greatly increases the quality of life for our users.

Platform - Toast Messaging 

We reduce the amount of messaging on the platform to lessen the amount of confusion whenever the application is using a third party widget. We removed the Toast message.

Platform - Login Errors

We also enhanced the login error message for our clients to be more specific, so that our users know what they’ve done wrong and can re-attempt to login with the right measures. This greatly enhances the quality of life for our users.

14 Day Free Trial Backward Compatibility 

We had a ton of clients signed up to use our platform and there are certainly more than a handful of them signed up before our 14 day free trial is implemented. We ran through all of the applications and applied the 14 day free trial rule for all active accounts and proper reminders will be sent going forward.

Product Studio - Various / Widgets / Controls Sorting

We sorted the list of elements you can use to build new products by alphabetical order for users to easily locate the variable they are looking for or custom variables they’ve created. This will make building new products with variables even faster and therefore increase the quality of life for our users.

Product Studio - Same Name, Different Style

Well, we finally did it. We allow you to create different products with the same name. Why would you want to do this? God only knows, but we made it possible for you to build different products with the same product name.

Product Studio - UX Enhancements

• You can now click onto any white space in the page you are editing to deselect from the selected field. This will speed up the product building process and lessen confusion and therefore increase the quality of life for our users.

• When a user creates a new page, the Product Builder will automatically take the user to the newly created page so they can start building their new page. This speeds up the build process.

• We’ve also made a bunch of changes to the Settings section of the Product Studio to make Toggles and Buttons look better. We’ve also made changes so the buttons are all consistent whenever you have a new setting saved.

Starter Plan - Now with access to Pricing Engine

Folks using the Starter Plan now have access to one of the critical modules of our platform, the Pricing Engine. We felt that allowing Starter Plan users to be successful, they need this critical piece of feature to launch a full featured product. When the Decision Engine reaches an approval decision, Starter Plan subscribers can now link that approval decision to a pricing algorithm to show to their applications what they’ve been approved for.

We made some updates to the credit card on file to run our clients monthly subscription fee.

Errata

• We fixed an issue where emails were triggered when Agents are manually sending emails from the Application Detail view.

• We fixed an issue where reminder emails for our free trial clients are not sent correctly.

• We fixed an issue where the left panel of the Product Studio was not active when the user was trying to edit the product. The left panel should always be in active state.

• We fixed an Experian Clarity Services issue where the Date of Birth was not populating correctly.

• We fixed an issue where the name of the page within the product studio is truncated, the name should show up and should be responsive as well.

• We fixed an issue with multi-factor authentication upon a user logging out.

• We added a success message when a new Tenant Product is created.

• We fixed a text color issue whenever a new name is being entered for a new page or tab that’s been created.

• We fixed the header settings text when a page is being reloaded. These settings test positions should be consistent.

• We also fixed the clone button so the newly cloned products can be edited and not just simply cloned.

• We also updated the timestamp function for each product created. The timestamp is now according to the user’s time zone.

We have other minor bugs that were addressed in the platform release that we don’t think it’s worth mentioning. If you see any bugs in our system, please report that to us and we will get that addressed as soon as we can.

What’s Next?

We’ve been screaming about some major product releases coming up and we will do it again here. In May 2025, we will release two features into our platform, the first one is Lender Marketplace where we can enable any lender to run their private lender matching. Another feature is our Model Runtime Service where we can load Amazon Safemaker or any type of Docker container. 

We are also releasing a standalone search function for clients to search for small businesses information. We are now reselling a few KYB vendors' information and this makes accessing this information more open, in addition to using API calls, a user can search for small business information through a graphical interface.
