Introduction - Part 7 - Let's see  how to connect a decision tree from Rule Studio to your application and customize the user interface for a seamless pre-approval process.

Lastly, we are changing the format of our release notes. Instead of a boring, Startrek styled engineering report, we will attempt to tell a general story of what we’ve done this past week for the LendAPI Platform as well as what we’ve done with our clients.

Mobile UI

One of the biggest focuses from our clients is the mobile look and feel. We made several enhancements to our Product Studio to make our mobile presentation even better out of the box. These small but subtle changes will benefit everyone using our Product Studio to build their mobile onboarding experience. Margins, padding, and resizing of certain elements are all in this release to better your client’s mobile experience.

Progress Bar and Field Masking

We made some changes to how the progress bar is being displayed and how it tracks the overall progress of the application. We made some changes to how fields are being masked for privacy purposes to enhance the overall experience. 

Platform Sign-up

We are constantly dialing in how new clients can sign up at LendAPI and enjoy the platform. This time we made some changes to how temporary passwords will be delivered to you. When you sign up for LendAPI, you will have everything you need to access our platform without fishing for temporary access codes and passwords. Go on and give it a try with our launch plan.

Variable Library and Model Library

We made some enhancements to how derived models are generated. Now there is a published indicator to let you know that your custom models and variables are published into the production environment. They are also versioned upon additional modifications for proper logging.

We added additional features for you to further refine string variables that you can create on your own. For example, if you create a variable such as SSN, you now have control to mask these variables as an attribute when you create these custom variables.

Back Buttons

You’ve been asking for it and you finally got it. We added a back button feature in our Product Studio to allow you to let your end applicants go back in the onboarding flow to change a few things before they move on. This is a hotly requested feature and we delivered.

Font Selectors

You now have a font selector in Product Studio to select whatever font that’s available when you are building out your flow. You can modify the header, titles, content with your own font. This was requested a few days ago and we delivered. Please enjoy more control on how your application looks and feels with your end clients.

Google Analytics

We added google analytics and other tools to help us measure how our clients are using LendAPI’s platform. We want to use this data to closely analyze which section of our platform is most used and prioritize our resources to dedicate more time into creating enhancements in those sections of our platform. 

Plaid

We made some changes to Plaid’s webhook to let our end clients control response time for Plaid’s widget.
