Welcome to another platform update at LendAPI. We worked mostly to harden our platform this time around as well as getting some of our clients into production. We also published a few more episodes of LendAPI Academy for our clients and future clients to watch how to build and launch their LOSs and Decisioning Engines themselves.
Platform Update
We have a new client announcement in the commercial real estate space and we can’t wait to get those guys going. For more information, please write to us at info@lendapi.com.

If you are interested in more detailed engineering notes for our v2.6.8 please, write to us at info@lendapi.com. Here are some highlights:
Email Functionality Upgrades
We spent a lot of energy on making end applicant communication as custom as possible. Variables, Images, Templates are all part of LendAPI’s email solution. These emails are all triggered based on events and outcomes of the system. We made some enhancements to enforce variables are formatted correctly and end clients logos can be used in email templates in this release. We are working on even more UI enhancements in the future releases.
Permissions and Access
We redefined some of the access login roles to restrict access to certain parts of the platform. For instance if you have an auditor role, security settings, single sign on settings and billing areas are now restricted.
We also made some enhancements to the Super Admin role to drill down to tenant level details. The Super Admin role is only made available to those with a LendAPI Enterprise license.
Variable Library and Model Library
We are putting even more error checking before custom variables are published. We are validating some of the characteristics of these variables before letting clients publish them. We will display appropriate error messages so clients understand what they need to do to repair their issues.
Product Studio
We made several enhancements to the Product Studio on certain drag and drop interactions. There are a few minor UX improvements we implemented to give proper feedback to the designer who’s actively putting together a LOS workflow.
Mobile UI
We made several changes to how contracts are displayed in mobile view to make it more visible for those that are signing contracts on a mobile device.
DataX
We made some enhancements to displaying certain types of variables with our DataX integration.
Well, I sure hope you enjoyed this new format a little better than our previous release notes. I sure had a lot of fun working on it. We couldn’t have done it without your feedback and your business. Thank you from all of us at LendAPI.com
