What started as a dream for Sam and me became a reality through relentless effort, the dedication of our product and engineering teams, and a belief in the impossible.

But we did it.

Here are some highlights from our first nine months in business and what we’ve accomplished in 2024:

10. The Team
We have the best product and engineering team in the market. With 265 releases to date, we’re on track to deliver a platform release weekly. By my calculations, we’ve compressed nearly five years of work into just a few months. How? A clear vision, a focused product roadmap, and a strong alignment between founders and the product team. We consistently sync up, review customer feedback, and self-correct when necessary. We’re not afraid to be wrong; we’re afraid of missing critical feedback that can make us the best fintech product launch platform in the industry.

9. Co-Founders
Sam and I come from different backgrounds and entrepreneurial journeys, so it’s natural for us to have disagreements—whether on prioritization, product features, or hiring decisions. But we always find common ground and stay focused on our mission and vision. We talk daily, sometimes minute by minute, ensuring nothing is left unresolved. These challenges push our boundaries and strengthen our team and product. I couldn’t be happier to have found Sam. We face tough battles ahead, but I know we have each other’s backs.

8. Sales and Marketing
Since our inception, we’ve published 158 blogs—an average of one every two days—covering partnership announcements, product updates, industry insights, and new client highlights. In late 2024, we launched the LendAPI YouTube Channel, LendAPI Academy, and LendAPI Podcast to spotlight our products and partners. We’ve spoken at conferences, pitched at startup accelerators, and conducted countless demos, both in person and virtually. With our newly hired sales team already making an impact, I’m excited to see how they’ll elevate us in 2025.

7. Our Clients
To our clients: we are deeply grateful. Without you, there is no LendAPI. Your success is our utmost priority. Whether through Slack messages or weekly calls, we work tirelessly to build the most flexible platform to launch your products. We aim to respond to your requests within three minutes and check in regularly. Whether you’re a billion-dollar neobank or a startup launching an MVP, we’re here to support you. In 2025, we’ll continue to deliver more features and functionality to exceed your expectations. Thank you for your trust and partnership.

6. Our Board
We’re privileged to work with an incredible board, having successfully raised our seed round from Cohen Circle, Great North Ventures, AlleyCorp, Techstars, Plug and Play, and Interlock Capital. Their advice and support have been transformative, guiding us from fintech infancy to adolescence. We keep them updated through a transparent weekly newsletter detailing the good, bad, and ugly. 5. The FinTech Community
From the start, we knew our platform needed integrations with key data providers and enterprise systems. That’s why we launched LendAPI Marketplace, which now boasts 200+ members and 50+ integrated partners. This ecosystem helps fintechs and banks launch products faster. Through our LendAPI Podcast, we’re highlighting the stories of our marketplace members—two episodes are live, with many more on the way. We’re excited to keep building this thriving community.

4. Startup Accelerators
We owe a debt of gratitude to Techstars and Plug and Play for selecting us for their 2024 cohorts. The hands-on training, mentorship, and connections we gained were invaluable. To anyone considering these programs: 10/10, five stars, two thumbs up. If you have the opportunity, apply—you won’t regret it.

3. Our Families
To our families: thank you for your patience and support. Whether it was sneaking out early on weekends or staying late at the office, your sacrifices allowed us to pursue our vision. We’re committed to making you proud in 2025.

2. Our Roadmap
We’ve not only completed our 2024 roadmap but exceeded it. Highlights include releasing Backtesting, A/B Testing, and Shadow Scoring—innovative features that empower clients to test and refine strategies with zero impact on production. Our commitment to weekly platform upgrades remains strong, and we have even more impactful features planned for 2025.

LendAPI’s vision is to enable the launch of any financial product in seconds. In 2024, we introduced our first mortgage product, equipping mortgage professionals with tools to enhance the client onboarding experience. As we refine and expand this offering, we’re excited to push forward in 2025.
